Arizona Defensive Driving Course

Driving Logic’s online Arizona Defensive Driving Course is coming soon. Arizona’s defensive driving program lets eligible drivers have one civil traffic ticket dismissed by completing a course from a school certified by the Arizona Supreme Court.

What Is Arizona Defensive Driving?

The Arizona Supreme Court runs the Defensive Driving Program and certifies the schools that teach it. A class runs at least 4 hours and no more than 4.5 hours. If you are eligible and complete the class, the ticket is dismissed and no points are assessed. You must finish no later than 7 days before your court date.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Your violation is on the eligible list: check the Arizona Supreme Court’s list of eligible violations
  • Once every 12 months: you have not attended for a ticket issued within the past 12 months
  • No serious injury or fatal accident was involved
  • CDL holders: only if you were driving a vehicle that needs a Class D or Class M license and it was not being used for commercial purposes
